Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's) are a problem that many people don't think will ever happen to them, but each year 3 million teens and young adults (15-24 yrs. old) will get one.  In all, 15 million new cases of STD's are reported each year for all age groups in the U.S.  To get more information on STD's (also called sexually transmitted infections or STI's), see the following links:
